HTC Digital Cable launches Primetime On Demand!

Primetime On Demand will allow you to see some of your favorite shows you have come to love on your own schedule. The first addition to the Primetime On Demand category is NBC. Enjoy shows such as Mercy, Heroes, Parks and Recreation, The Office and more. Primetime On Demand can be found on the VOD Main Menu. To access VOD, just press the VOD Button on your remote or Tune to Channel 1. More Primetime On Demand content will be added soon.

 

HTC Digital Cable adds SportSouth and Fox Sports Carolinas HD

If you subscribe to an HTC Digital Cable HD/DVR set-top box and Cable Plus, then you can enjoy the latest additions to the growing HD line-up - SportSouth HD and Fox Sports Carolinas HD. Catch all the action from the Hurricanes to the Thrashers in crystal clear detail. SportSouth HD is available on Channel 866 and Fox Sports Carolinas HD on Channel 848.

Channel Change Alert!

From time-to-time, HTC Digital Cable makes channel changes to better serve our customers. The following changes are currently planned for December 1, 2009:

• HD Theatre will be moved to Channel 800
• National Geographic HD will be moved to Channel 864

Both channels are included with a subscription to Cable Plus and a HD set-top box.

Discovery, Animal Planet and More Now in High Definition!

Just in time for Shark Week, HTC Digital Cable now offers Discovery in High Definition. HTC Digital Cable customers now have access to five additional HD networks:

• Discovery HD - Channel 831
• TLC HD - Channel 838
• Animal Planet HD - Channel 857
• Planet Green HD - Channel 703
• Science HD - Channel 710

All are part of the HD Basic package. Planet Green and Science Channel require a subscription to Passport.

MSNBC in 1080i High Definition Now Available!

On Tuesday, June 30, HTC Digital Cable launched MSNBC in 1080i High Definition on channel 870.

HTC Digital Cable customers will now be able to watch MSNBC's popular primetime programming, including the highly rated and critically acclaimed "Countdown with Keith Olbermann," "The Rachel Maddow Show" and "Hardball with Chris Matthews," as well as the smartest morning show on television "Morning Joe," in full 1080i High Definition.

Building on the NBC News HD infrastructure already in place, MSNBC launches 1080i High Definition utilizing two full HD capable control rooms, integrated HD graphics, and new HD commercial integration master control and distribution systems. Since October of 2007, MSNBC has been telecasting from two HD-ready studios.

MSNBC HD is available to customers with a DVR/HD set-top box and is available in most areas.

Cartoon Network HD Now Available!

HTC Digital Cable now offers over 50 High Definition networks with the addition of Cartoon Network. Cartoon Network HD is available on Channel 841 as part of the HD Basic package*. Cartoon Network HD is broadcast in 16X9 1080i format with continual 5.1 Dolby Digital sound. Enjoy some of your favorites from Cartoon Network including Star Wars: The Clone Wars now all in high definition.
