Setup Instructions:

If you receive and send emails using Webmail no changes are necessary!
Web Mail Login URL: http://sccourier.sccoast.net

If you use a mail 'client' such as Microsoft Outlook, Outlook Express, Apple Mail,
Entourage, or any other 'client' you MUST change your email settings. See below for further details and help with some email clients.

Your email address will continue to end in @sccoast.net.

Remember! Your User Name is your full email address including @sccoast.net.
EX: myemail@sccoast.net

Server Settings


Incoming Mail (POP3) Server - requires SSL:	pop.gmail.com Use SSL: Yes Port: 995
Incoming Mail (IMAP) Server - requires SSL:	imap.gmail.com Use SSL: Yes Port: 993 IMAP allows you to check new and previously read and sent email from any computer or mobile device. Should you wish to use IMAP follow the instructions appropriate for your email client (continue to use your @sccoast.net email address).
Outgoing Mail (SMTP) Server - requires TLS:	smtp.gmail.com Use Authentication: Yes Use STARTTLS: Yes (some clients call this SSL) Port: 465

Please note that if your client does not support SMTP authentication, you won't be able to send mail through your client using your Gmail address. Also, if you're having trouble sending mail but you've confirmed that encryption is active for SMTP in your mail client, try to configure your SMTP server on a different port: 465 or 587.
