HTC Digital Cable Airs REEL Kids Ceremony on Channel 4
HTC Digital Cable is proud to announce the airing of the 9th Annual HTC REEL Kids (Recognizing Extraordinary Examples of Leadership) Ceremony. The program will air every Saturday and Sunday night at 8 p.m. beginning this weekend, now through the end of October on Channel 4.
Viewers will be able to watch forty-eight students, one representing each school in Horry County Schools, receive their HTC REEL Kids awards. Each recipient has proven themselves through scholastic, athletic and community achievements in the face of obstacles or extenuating circumstances.
The program will also feature special guest speakers, Whitney and Carly Cerak, known for the Mistaken Identity Case of 2006 and the inspiration for the New York Times bestseller, Mistaken Identity: Two Families One Survivor, Unwavering Hope. The book was written by Don and Susie Van Ryn and Newell Colleen and Whitney Cerak. The inspirational speech will be followed by the presentation of medals to each winner for their accomplishments.
“HTC receives so many requests each year from parents and subscribers about the REEL Kids Ceremony,” said Nicole Hyman, HTC Senior Marketing Coordinator. “We want to make sure everyone is informed about the airing of this uplifting program that recognizes some of the most deserving students in Horry County Schools.”
Please note the following dates when the Braves games will air instead of the Ceremony: Saturday, August 22 and Saturday, September 19. For more information regarding the HTC REEL Kids program, please contact Nicole Hyman, HTC Senior Marketing Coordinator, at 369-8498.
