HTC Employees Give from the Heart, Give Life with Blood Drive
HTC employees recently sponsored a blood drive just in time for Valentine’s Day to give the precious gift of life. On Wednesday, February 3, 58 pints were collected by HTC employees for the American Red Cross. This blood drive will help save up to 174 patients in Horry County who may be struggling to stay alive.
“At Valentine’s, we give flowers and candy but how often do we give life,” asked Lisa Beverly, HTC Marketing Coordinator. “This year, HTC employees generously gave from the heart in hopes of saving the lives of many special valentines throughout our community.”
In 2009, HTC employees donated more than 171 units of blood to the American Red Cross. According to American Red Cross records, HTC has donated more than 1701 units of blood since August 1998.
