HTC Adds New Tower in Carolina Forest

HTC adds new cell site for significant wireless coverage improvements.
HTC Horizon activated a new cell site in the Carolina Forest community recently. The new tower, located on Carolina Forest Boulevard, shows significant improvements with 3G coverage for customers in the Avalon, Walker’s Woods, and Plantation Lakes communities. The tower also added coverage to smaller portions of the Sawgrass, Southgate, Covington Lakes, Westhaven, and Waterbridge communities.
HTC Horizon has already deployed four new wireless towers this spring, providing new coverage for Loris, Aynor, and Conway. HTC engineers also just completed a new site in the Lee’s Landing area on Mike’s Road providing 3G coverage along Highway 90 east of Conway in the Lee’s Landing Community. Plans are currently underway for one additional site to be activated by the end of the month. This tower will be adjacent to the Socastee Post Office and provides additional coverage to the Socastee community along Highway 707, Highway 544 and Big Block Road.
