HTC Digital Cable Announces Extensive Additions to Lineup

HTC adds six highly requested HD networks to Digital Cable lineup.
HTC Digital Cable is excited to announce the addition of six new high definition channels to the line up including ABC Family HD, QVC HD, Disney HD, Toon Disney HD, ESPNews HD and ESPNU HD. All six HD channels are free and available to most customers as long as they subscribe to the package that includes the linear channel. With these new HD networks, HTC Digital Cable now has a total of 46 HD networks in the lineup.
ABC Family HD (Channel 805) –ABC Family features original movies, series and specials -- programming that is reflective of today's families with all of their diversity, dysfunction, humor and passion. Real stories. Real heart. ABC Family is an integral part of Disney ABC Television Group, a division of the Walt Disney Company and is advertiser supported.
QVC HD (Channel 822) –QVC, one of the largest multimedia retailers in the world, with annual revenue of more than $7 billion, provides its customers with thousands of the most innovative and contemporary beauty, fashion, jewelry and home products.
Disney HD (Channel 837) –Disney Channel taps into the world of kids and families through original series and movies, plus contemporary acquired programming. While designed for preschoolers, the programming invites co-viewing with parents, grandparents and caregivers.
Toon Disney HD (Channel 720) –Toon Disney, part of the Disney Channel Worldwide family, is a 24-hour cable network around the globe that features a variety of family-friendly animated entertainment. Toon Disney showcases The Walt Disney Company’s vast animated library, as well as a variety of acquired movies and animated programs.
ESPNews HD (Channel 760) –ESPNEWS, the nation's only 24-hour television sports news service, provides its viewers unprecedented access to the newsmakers with live coverage of significant press conferences including NFL weekly coaches sessions, and post-season and championship briefings. Established as an extension of ESPN's flagship news program "SportsCenter", ESPNEWS provides an expanded window for news and highlights, as well as live coverage of breaking news.
ESPNU HD (Channel 762) – ESPNU HD is a television channel that specializes in college sports and is produced and affiliated with its parent network, ESPN.

Subscribers can also note that HTC Digital Cable no longer charges the $3.95 monthly fee for Premiums on Demand. All Premium on Demand programming is bundled in each premium package at no additional charge.
Currently, HTC Digital Cable gives subscribers access to more than 200 channels including 46 CD quality, commercial free music channels. HTC Digital Cable also offers DVR (digital video recorder) HDTV (High-definition television) and VOD (Video on Demand). The DVR lets you record your favorite programs, view programming whenever you want and pause, and rewind live TV. HDTV makes a huge difference with brighter colors, sharper picture, and crystal clear digital-quality sound.
