Additional Security Equipment
For added peace of mind, HTC offers you additional equipment to protect every inch of your property at all times.
Motion Sensors provide a safety net should an intruder somehow gain access to your home. Mounted in likely traffic areas such as hallways, these detectors sense the infrared heat pattern that the body emits. Current technology has allowed the creation of a new type of infrared motion sensor which, in addition to detecting a human intruder, is sophisticated enough to allow small pets to traverse a monitored area freely without triggering the alarm.
Door Window Sensors
Door and Window Sensors trigger the alarm if a secured door or window is opened while the system is armed.
Keyless Entry Systems
Add a wireless key fob to your security system. A hot item that fits right on your keychain and can be used as an emergency button.
Glass Break Detector
Designed for use where a large expanse of glass, such as a picture window, may be broken to provide an easy entrance into your home without ever opening a door or window, Audio Glass Break Detectors recognize the frequency and digital sound pattern of breaking glass. Also used in areas where magnetic contacts have already been placed on the frames of large glass windows and doors, Audio Glass Break Detectors represent a valuable addition to a security system.
Almost all building codes now require that smoke detectors be placed throughout new homes in order to wake sleeping occupants in time to escape a fire. But what happens if nobody is home? These System Smoke Detectors are connected to your security system just like any other device, but instead of signaling a break-in, they alert the monitoring personnel to a potential fire. In your absence, these detectors can catch a fire while it is still smoldering, before it has done any damage.
Carbon Monoxide Detector
Called the "silent killer", carbon monoxide is an odorless, colorless gas that has only recently been recognized for the lethal hazard it represents in most homes. Placed in sleeping areas and other locations where this deadly gas may accumulate, Carbon Monoxide Detectors, like smoke detectors, can save your life when you are most vulnerable at night.
Available for almost any specific gas, including natural or propane gas, these detectors are usually placed in enclosed areas that house major gas appliances, such as furnaces, dryers and water heaters, to detect leaks. While the odor of leaking gas may alert the homeowner to its presence, dangerous amounts may build up, forming an explosion hazard while the owner is asleep or away.
Rate of Rising Heat Detector
In some areas, such as a garage or work area, it is common to see a small amount of smoke occasionally. In these locations heat detectors can be installed, instead of smoke detectors. Not only do these detectors alarm if the temperature in an area becomes excessive, but they also alarm if they sense that the temperature is rising quickly.
Surveillance cameras are extremely helpful in protecting your home or office environment. You can check up on your nanny or employees, make sure nothing suspect happens at your home while you're away, monitor the children from another part of the house, or even monitor your office parking lot when you leave after dark.
A device designed to guard against theft. It easily affixes to any valuable requiring protection including paintings, flat screen TVs and other electronics, family heirlooms, safes, machinery, equipment and more.
Designed to allow water or any conductive non-flammable liquid to be detected with low voltage and low current. It can monitor up to two sensor probes simultaneously. Ideal for basements, laundry rooms and kitchens or anywhere flooding is a possibility and early warning is desirable to prevent damage.
