HTC encourages remote bill payment

HTC, like your family, has been monitoring the arrival and spread of the coronavirus (COVID-19) over the past few weeks. The health and safety of our employees, members and neighbors is of the utmost importance. To do our part in protecting the health of our community and team members, HTC encourages remote bill payment and services management.

While bill payment at one of the seven HTC locations has been a way for many members to manage their accounts, we currently recommend following the guidance of social distancing provided by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). Health officials advise keeping a social distance of at least six feet helps prevent the spread of COVID-19.

To support our members in maintaining good health, HTC offers three ways to remotely pay your bill or manage services. Take advantage of the convenience of settling your account balance via:

  • Telephone: If you wish to speak to an HTC Customer Relations Associate, call 843-365-2154 or 800-824-6779. Our knowledgeable and friendly staff will be happy to handle your payment request right over the phone. They can also assist you on handling technical challenges or service requests.
  • My Account: The easiest way to handle all your HTC business in one location is with My Account. By creating or accessing My Account, you can pay your account balance, manage your home Wi-Fi, enroll in paperless billing, manage your services and much more.   • Bank Draft: Have your HTC bill automatically deducted from your bank account each month and never worry about missed or late payments again. To set up automated payments from your checking account, select the “Payments” tab on the Account Details page. Highlight “Make Payment”, then click on the “Schedule a Payment”. To schedule your payment, you must have a valid bank account established on My Account. You can set up a payment that is 1) Recurring on the Due Date, 2) Recurring on a Specific Date, 3) a One Time Scheduled Payment.
