During March, HTC collected both new and gently used children’s books for kids ages 0-10 at all eight HTC retail locations. In addition, the Cooperative made a monetary donation to be used for books for every new HTC TV MAX subscription during the month.

The donated books and monies were distributed among the following organizations:

  • Horry County: Families Read
  • Georgetown County: Freedom Readers
  • Marion County: Marion County Chamber of Commerce for area book distribution

“The contributions from members, employees and the Cooperative, reflect HTC’s commitment to not only to helping area youth, but the communities as a whole in which we work and live,” said Sandy Hendrick, HTC Marketing Manager. “We’re thankful for everyone who took part in this book drive and are sure it will assist the organizations benefit the young readers with which they work.”
