TV MAX will be undergoing maintenance on Tuesday, September 28, 2021 from 1 a.m. until 5 p.m.

During this maintenance window, MAX viewers will be able to watch live television and access the program guide. In addition, any Video on Demand (VOD) or recording playback being watched at the time maintenance starts will continue unaffected until you navigate away from it.

However, during this time, the following functionality will be unavailable:

  • Recordings and restart functionality will not be available during the maintenance window.
  • Subscribers will not be able to view, schedule, change, or play recordings.
  • Program guides will show fixed data which will not update during the maintenance window, and towards the end of the window only one day of guide data will be available for up to 24 hours. Some channels in the guide may show TBA or blank program data during this period.
  • All VOD content will temporarily disappear from the catalog and will be restored over the course of 48 hours.
  • Some featured content lists on the main screen will not be available

Please also be aware of the following:

 Expected Cloud DVR Impacts

  • Recordings scheduled during the maintenance window will not be recorded
  • During the window, users will not be able to view, schedule or modify any existing recordings or catch up.
  • After maintenance, some images associated with the DVR recordings might change
  • Some channel logos are expected to change
  • In rare instances, existing and scheduled recordings of some uncommon programs, such as locally originated content, might be lost or an existing recording may appear as a tile labeled Unknown with no title image.

Expected VOD Impacts

  • VOD catalog will be reset at 1 p.m. on September 28 and will repopulate over the subsequent 48 hours
  • Some VOD-related artworks might be replaced with gray tiles
  • In rare instances, some uncommon VOD programs might not appear in the catalog

Live TV Impacts

  • Some channel logos are expected to change
  • Some programs might display series images rather than episode images
  • Some series images may also change
  • Some channels in the program guide may show TBA or blank program data during the maintenance window which will resolve within 24 hours after completion of maintenance
