HTC is excited to welcome you as the newest member of our cooperative.
HTC offers many convenient ways to view and pay your monthly statement. However, we will never call you to ask for pre-payment of services. Scams take many shapes and forms, such as phone calls, letters and emails. Contact HTC directly at 843-436-6500 for validation of any communication that claims to come from HTC.
How will I pay my bill?
You can pay your bill online through HTC MyAccount, an online bill pay and service management website that includes an app, over the phone at 843-436-6500, or in person at 2101 S Fraser St. in Georgetown. If you were previously enrolled in automatic bill payment through Southern Coastal Cable, you must enroll in MyAccount to set up automatic bill pay with HTC.
Will I still have access to my favorite TV channels?
The HTC Digital Video lineup features more than 200 channels. Find your favorite sports, movies and news programs on our extensive channel lineup. To view the lineup, click here.
Will I be able to use the same set top box?
You will continue to use the same equipment in the immediate future. Later this year, as we transition you to the HTC network, we will contact you with any equipment transition needs.

Who do I contact if I need assistance with my bill or for technical support?

Who is HTC?
HTC is a nonprofit cooperative that offers high-quality telecommunication services and is focused on bettering the lives of those living in the areas we serve. HTC grants membership based on your subscription to any of the following qualifying HTC services: Home Phone, Digital Cable, High-Speed Internet, Wireless Services and Security & Automation; regardless of your service location.
We offer four distinct benefits to our members not found at traditional telecommunication service providers, including:
- Eligibility for Capital Credits: Members of a cooperative have ownership stake in that organization. HTC operates as a nonprofit cooperative, so when a profit is realized, the funds are allocated back to members in the form of capital credits. While the allocation and payment of capital credits is dependent upon the Cooperative’s operating condition and need for future capital, we have been able to pay more than $139 million back to our members since 1979.
- Voting Rights: Members get a voice in important decisions, including the election of our board of directors. Each member gets one vote.
- Competitive Pricing: Members of the Cooperative share in very competitive pricing on our products and services.
- Community Focus: HTC is very active in communities spanning Georgetown and Horry counties. Money generated by our members is returned to the community to improve the quality of life for all.
