Sponsorships: A Rewarding Way We Support Our Local Communities
At HTC, the letters stand for more than just technology – they also represent “Helping The Community”. One of the meaningful ways we do this is through sponsorship.
Providing support, whether financial or through our physical presence at an event, can make all the difference to a local nonprofit. Sponsorships may help fund a year-long program, supply much-needed resources or simply ensure the success of a community event. By offering our assistance, HTC strives to strengthen and enhance the communities where our employees and members live and work.
Sponsorships also create opportunities to build lasting partnerships. When local organizations thrive, so does the community as a whole. Whether it’s helping a youth sports team with uniforms, supporting an educational program, or contributing to a nonprofit event, these investments are not just donations – they are part of HTC’s ongoing commitment to making our region a better place.
As with all things, there are parameters around what we can and cannot sponsor based on guidelines established by the Cooperative.
HTC may consider applications that:
- Align with our mission of improving the quality of life in the areas we serve.
- Further our mission of strengthening the social, economic, and educational infrastructure or our local communities.
- Involve our employees in community projects combining our time, talent and technology.
HTC does not support the following:
- Political or religious affiliates
- Competitive or contrasting affiliates
- Racial or social issues
- Individuals
- Travel
- Capital or endowment funds
- Organizations that discriminate or that are not aligned with the Cooperative’s mission or values.
HTC is proud to support our members, local communities and area youth. If you are hosting a community event, coordinating youth programs, supporting a recreational sport team or working with a nonprofit organization, we encourage you to consider HTC as a partner in your efforts.
