HTC Set to Begin Major Renovation of Georgetown Retail Location
Project to Bring Modern Retail Space, Enhanced Member Experience and Expanded Parking to Georgetown Office
June 26, 2025, Conway, S.C. – HTC, the area’s largest fiber internet provider, announced today renovations for the Cooperative’s Georgetown retail location will begin June 30. This marks a significant step in HTC’s continued investment in improving the member experience across its service area.
While the original location undergoes renovations, HTC will remain fully operational next door at 815 Elizabeth Street, ensuring uninterrupted in-person availability for members.
The newly redesigned space will reflect a more modern and upscale look, with a focus on both function and aesthetic. Members and employees alike will benefit from expanded parking, upgraded landscaping and a large green space along South Fraser Street to enhance the overall experience.
“Renovating the Georgetown location has been a priority as we look to better serve our members and support the needs of our employees,” said Sabrina Davis, HTC Manager Retail Member Experience. “This project reflects our long-term commitment to the Georgetown community, and we’ve worked hard to ensure the space is both inviting and efficient.”
Construction is expected to continue through mid-September, with a firm completion date to be announced as the project progresses.
Throughout the renovation, members will be guided with clear signage and communication to ensure they know HTC is still available to meet their needs at the temporary location. Renderings of the new facility show a significant transformation that will position the Georgetown branch as a modern, member-first destination for years to come.
