HTC Announces Plan to Bring Fiber Optic Internet Service to Surfside Residents
HTC Continues to Increase and Enhance Internet Availability Throughout the Tri-County Area
December 4, 2024, Conway, S.C., – HTC, the area’s largest fiber internet provider, announced today the expansion of their fiber optic internet service within the Surfside area.
The project is expected to begin in January 2025 and will bring fiber-optic technology to Surfside. Delivering ultra-fast speeds starting at 500 Mbps, residents will also be able to take advantage of the elevated features of HTC Smart Wi-Fi.
With an estimated completion date of Spring 2025, the project will revolutionize the way the Surfside community connects to the digital world. With approximately 22 route miles of fiber infrastructure being constructed, HTC continues its commitment to expanding access to reliable, high-performance internet service.
