Members Receive $7.5 Million In Capital Credits From HTC
Cooperative Distributes Refund as Part of 2006 and 2021 Allocations
September 12, 2023, Conway, S.C., – HTC, the area’s largest fiber internet provider, today announced the 2023 Capital Credits distribution of $7.5 million to cooperative members will be distributed throughout the month of September.
Since 1979, HTC has refunded $174 million to members and this year’s refund represents portions of the 2006 and 2021 allocations. The amount disbursed to each member is based on the total amount members spent on qualifying services in the previous years noted. For distribution, if a member’s refund is $50.01 or more, a check will be mailed. If the refund is $50 or less, it will be applied to the member’s monthly bill.
