HTC Supports Junior Achievement 3DE Program with Horry County Schools
Investing in Education and Future Career Opportunities
At HTC, supporting education has always been an important part of serving the community. That commitment continues through HTC’s sponsorship and partnership with Junior Achievement of Greater South Carolina, Horry County Schools (HCS), and its innovative 3DE program launching at Conway High School.
The 3DE program brings real-world learning into the classroom. Through business-focused projects and collaborative experiences, students gain hands-on exposure to career pathways and workplace skills. In addition, the program helps students connect classroom lessons to future opportunities.
The Cooperative is proud to support programs that prepare students for success after graduation. Likewise, HTC believes students benefit most when education includes practical, real-life experiences.
Supporting Hands-On Learning Experiences
The partnership with Junior Achievement and HCS aligns closely with HTC’s commitment to education and workforce development. For years, the Cooperative has supported local students through community involvement, technology initiatives and internship opportunities.
HTC internships also give students hands-on experience in several career areas. Students can explore fields such as marketing, communications, technology, customer service and business operations. As a result, students gain valuable workplace knowledge while building confidence and professional skills.
Similarly, the 3DE program encourages teamwork, communication and problem-solving in a real-world environment. These experiences help students better prepare for college, careers and future leadership opportunities.
Building Stronger Communities Through Education
HTC believes strong educational opportunities help create stronger communities. Therefore, supporting programs like 3DE is another way to continue investing in the future of local students.
As the program grows within HCS at Conway High School, the Cooperative looks forward to helping students gain the skills and experiences needed for long-term success.
