HTC Partners with Horry County Schools for Third Annual Middle School Football Bowl Games
All 13 HCS Middle Schools, and Waccamaw Middle of Georgetown County School District Participated In Individual Games
October 31, 2024, Conway, S.C.- HTC today announced the Cooperative partnered with Horry County Schools (HCS) to cap off the 2024 middle school football season with a full slate of “Bowl Games.”
All taking place on Tuesday, October 29, each Horry County Schools middle school football team played a team from the opposite division with a similar record. In addition, Waccamaw Middle from the Georgetown County School District will be participating in the bowl series for the first time. There will be a total of seven bowl games played, including: the HTC Community Bowl; HTC Communications Bowl; HTC Internet Bowl; HTC Member Bowl; HTC Hometown Bowl; HTC Connect Bowl; and HTC Cooperative Bowl.
HCS again offered these bowl games to increase the level of competition, particularly for the last game of the season.

- Community Bowl: St. James 17, Loris 8
- Communications Bowl: Ocean Bay 22, Aynor 6
- Internet Bowl: Myrtle Beach 38, Green Sea Floyds 20
- Member Bowl: Whittemore Park 28, Socastee 6
- Hometown Bowl: Conway 19, Ten Oaks 8
- Connect Bowl: Forestbrook 21, North Myrtle Beach 14
- Cooperative Bowl: Black Water 16, Waccamaw 0
