It PAYS to be a Member at HTC

This year, HTC’s Board of Directors approved a 2024 Capital Credit refund of $8.8 million to the membership. This year’s refund represents a portion of the 2010 and 2023 allocations. With the 2025 return, HTC has refunded more than $193 million to members in our local community since 1979.  No other telecommunications company gives back to its members like HTC!

If your Capital Credit was $100 or less, it will be applied to your HTC account. If your Capital Credit was more than $100, you will receive a check in the mail (if you’ve not already).

You can learn more about Capital Credits, and the other benefits of being a cooperative member.

  1. I’ve been with HTC since 2015(the account was in my wife’s name) & have not ever received a credit or check. Her name is Anne Kepple .

    1. In some communities, HTC services are provided through a bulk agreement with a homeowners’ association (HOA). In these cases, the HOA is the official member of the cooperative and residents receive HTC services as part of that agreement. While residents within such communities may not be individual cooperative members by default, they still experience the quality and reliability of HTC services.

  2. I have not received a refund check. My friend who also lives in Loris has gotten several hundred dollars from HTC. Why am I not getting any refunds?
