It’s REEL Kids Season!
For more than two decades, HTC worked to create a connection and relationship with area schools through the HTC REEL Kids program by honoring students who demonstrate leadership excellence while overcoming life challenges.
Public and public charter schools in Horry, Georgetown and Marion counties, primary through high school, are encouraged to participate by nominating an extraordinary student for the annual award. Once a nomination is finalized, our video crew travels to the schools to create highlight reels. These videos can be found on our website, our YouTube page and each weekend a new group of students are spotlighted on our Facebook page.
This year, all REEL Kids will gather on April 15 for a special day of fun. In addition to a lunch and tournament at Medieval Times, each REEL Kid will receive a ceremonial Olympic-style award, prizes and gifts.
AND...with over 1,300 Alumni of the REEL Kids program and a large venue, this year we are extending an invitation. If you are or if you know of a REEL Kid, this is an opportunity to reconnect, reminisce and be part of the celebration! It’s sure to be a REEL-y good time!
