Wish Granted: HTC Partners With Make-A-Wish
HTC recently hosted a Make-A-Wish celebration to present Scarlett, a 12-year-old from Conway who is currently battling Hodgkin’s lymphoma, her wish for a trip to LEGOLAND. The event was held as part of HTC’s ongoing sponsorship with Make-A-Wish South Carolina and brought together HTC employees, community supporters and Make-A-Wish representatives.
Scarlett’s celebration included activities centered around her favorite things, including Legos, chocolate cake, gummy bears, Squishmallows, a bracelet-making station and a “Wall of Wishes” built from blue Legos inscribed with encouraging messages for her journey. During the event, she received a variety of gifts from HTC and was also named an honorary REEL Kid – a title from a longstanding HTC initiative.
“HTC is honored to play a role in bringing Scarlett’s wish to fruition,” said Samantha Cherry, HTC Marketing Coordinator. “Supporting Make-A-Wish aligns with our commitment to strengthening the communities we serve, and we are grateful to help create a memorable day for Scarlett and her family.”
