HTC is here to support the communities we serve
From coast to crops, beach to barns, our community is as diverse as it gets. At the heart of it all is one unifying thread: we love where we live and work. And that means supporting our community.
HTC actively invests in the communities our employees and members call home. Our pledge to serve the community is a cornerstone of our cooperative heritage and culture. HTC centers every decision and action around three core values: Community, Connection and Cooperative. Our values aren’t just what we believe – it’s who we are.
Sponsorship Guidelines
Each year, HTC gives nearly half a million dollars to worthwhile charities, representing a critical revenue source and strategic partnership for nonprofits and organizations in our community. In evaluating requests for support, HTC considers the following guidelines:
- We strive to support initiatives that align with our mission of improving the quality of life in the areas we serve.
- We support opportunities that advance our mission to strengthen our community’s social, economic and educational infrastructure.
- Requests must serve the needs of the community where HTC operates.
- HTC also looks for opportunities to involve our employees in community projects combining our time, talent and technology.
Sponsorship Parameters
HTC does not support the following:
- Political or religious affiliates
- Competitive or contrasting affiliates
- Racial or social issues
- Individuals
- Travel
- Capital or endowment funds
- Organizations that discriminate or that are not in alignment with the Cooperative’s mission or values
