Jeans Day: Employees Making a Difference

At HTC, our commitment to the communities we serve goes beyond providing reliable communication and entertainment services – we believe in giving back to the people and places that make us who we are. As a Cooperative, we are built on the values of Community and Connection, and our employees embody these principles every day.
One of the many ways our team makes an impact is through their Jeans Day donations, a special initiative where employees contribute to a Jeans Day Fund in exchange for the opportunity to wear jeans on Fridays. These voluntary donations add up throughout the year, allowing us to give back to organizations that provide essential support within our communities and beyond.
In 2024, thanks to the generosity and dedication of our employees, we were able to donate $32,650.36 to various local nonprofits, charities, and community initiatives. These contributions directly support causes that make a difference in the lives of our neighbors, from providing food for families in need to supporting health initiatives, education programs, and emergency relief efforts.
This effort is in addition to our Helping The Community initiative, which includes not only financial donations but also acts of appreciation, volunteering, sponsorships, and community partnerships – reinforcing our dedication to strengthening the places we call home. Visit our Helping The Community page to learn more.
At HTC, we are more than a provider – we are a partner, a neighbor, and a Cooperative that cares. Thank you to our incredible employees for making a lasting difference!
