Your Consent to Electronic Delivery (“Consent Statement”)
RIGHT TO CONSENT
You may have the right to receive certain legal disclosures, notices, communications, and billing statements in paper form by mail or by electronic delivery. By providing consent to receive electronic delivery, you agree to receive all billing-related communications via email and with access to view billing statements in HTC My Account.
Covered Items
You may receive the following electronically:
- Documents related to your account opening, such as Member Agreements and Privacy Notices.
- Billing Statements (Paperless Statements).
- Other legal notices, disputes, and account changes (Account Communications).
You understand that by giving us your Consent, you may no longer receive such Covered Items in paper form, and you accept any consequence of not reviewing the Covered Items in a timely manner. Your Consent will remain in effect until you withdraw your Consent in accordance with this Consent Statement.
IMPORTANT DISCLOSURE INFORMATION:
- If you do not consent to electronic delivery, you will receive a paper bill in the mail, delivered to the address we currently have on file.
- Your consent to electronic delivery applies to all future bills unless you withdraw consent.
- You can withdraw consent at any time by accessing your account in HTC My Account.
- A withdrawal of consent does not apply to bills emailed to you before the withdrawal date.
- The Payer will cease electronic delivery if you are no longer a recipient or if regulations change.
- You need a computer, printer, and Adobe Acrobat software to access, print, and retain your bill.
Withdrawing your Consent will not affect the enforceability of any Covered Items already provided or your obligation to make payments.
We reserve the right to modify these terms and conditions at our discretion. We will provide you with notice of such modification(s) electronically in a manner consistent with Methods of Providing Covered Items.
We do not necessarily retain copies for longer than is required by law. Save or print copies of Covered Items to ensure you have them when needed.
