HTC Sponsors Georgetown YMCA Swim Team Scoreboard
With Partnership, Georgetown YMCA Swim Team Has Equipment Needed to Host Swim Meets.
November 22, 2023, Conway, S.C. – HTC, the area’s largest fiber optic internet provider, recently took part in a ceremony unveiling the Georgetown YMCA swim team’s scoreboard. This scoreboard was purchased due to a donation provided by HTC.
With the scoreboard in place, the Georgetown YMCA can now host certified swim meets that aid individuals and teams in qualifying for state-level competitions, as well as record official times for swimmers.
“The YMCA of Coastal Carolina is truly excited about our partnership with HTC. This scoreboard is a valuable asset to our Tidelands Health Georgetown Family YMCA center and helped us become qualified to hold official swim meets,” said David Byrd, CEO of the YMCA of Coastal Carolina.
