HTC Marketing SMS Program
The following terms and conditions apply to the marketing text message program (SMS) offered by HTC and its subsidiaries and affiliates. Messages will include special offers, promotions, discounts, event invitations, survey invitations, news, and other promotional related content.
By opting-in, you consent to receive and authorize HTC to send you recurring automated marketing text messages at the mobile number you used when signing up. You will receive a text message to confirm your signup. Your opt-in signifies your agreement to these terms.
To participate you must have a text messaging enabled mobile device with a text messaging plan. Not all mobile devices may be supported, and text messaging may not be available in all areas.
Terms and Conditions
- Opt-in. If you want to opt-in to receive marketing text messages from HTC, submit the opt-in form in your HTC My Account profile.
- For help. If you need assistance, text the keyword “HELP” to the HTC short code (the number from which text messages are being sent) at any time to receive customer care contact information or you can get help directly at customerservice@htcinc.net or 1-800-824-6779.
- To cancel. You can cancel the SMS service by texting “STOP” to the short code at any time to no longer receive marketing text messages. After you send the SMS message “STOP” to the short code, you will receive one additional text message confirming that you have been unsubscribed. After this, you will no longer receive marketing text messages from us.
- Opt-out keywords: STOP, QUIT, END, CANCEL, or UNSUBSCRIBE
- If you want to join again, submit the opt-in form in your HTC My Account profile and we will start sending marketing SMS messages to you again. You may also text the keyword “START” to the HTC short code (the number from which text messages were being sent) at any time to resume receiving messages.
- If you cancel from one of our text message programs, you many continue to receive text messages from HTC through another program you have subscribed to separately until you cancel from those programs.
- Interruption. Neither HTC nor any wireless carriers are liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
- Rates. Message and data rates may apply for any messages sent to you from us and from you to us. If you have any questions about your text or data plan, it is best to contact your wireless provider.
- Frequency. Message frequency will vary. We reserve the right to alter the frequency of messages sent at any time.
- Privacy. HTC will not share or sell your information to third parties. If you have any questions regarding privacy, please read our privacy policy.
- Contact us. If you have questions or comments, please go to our Contact Us page or call 843-365-2154.
- Duty to notify and indemnify. You represent that you are the account holder for the mobile phone number(s) that you used to subscribe to the program. You are responsible for completing the opt-out process or notifying us immediately if you change, transfer, or intend to stop using the mobile number used to subscribe to the program. You may notify us of a number change by contacting HTC. Your agreement to do so is a critical part of these terms and conditions.
You agree to indemnify HTC in full for all claims, expenses, and damages related to or caused in whole or in part by your failure to compete the opt-out process or notify us if you change, transfer or intend to stop using your mobile phone number including but not limited to all claims, expenses, and damages related to or arising under the Telephone Consumer Protection Act.
