Student Career Connections

In partnership with Horry Georgetown Technical College and Coastal Carolina University, Student Career Connections gives students the opportunity to gain corporate business experience in HTC’s Contact Center where they can make connections, learn about the telecommunications industry and gain an internship in their preferred field of study. This program aims to connect students with career options after learning a foundation of knowledge through a part-time customer service position.

Customer Relations Associates serve HTC members via phone, answering member questions regarding products and services, help members make process their monthly payment, aim to meet sales goals through assisting members find products/services that fit their needs, and more.

Highlights of Student Career Connections:

• Part-time positions, which include evenings and weekends, with flexibility that works with your school schedule
• Program training will be held this summer at HTC’s main office location during normal business hours
• Earn a competitive wage and build your career foundation
• Scholarship money each semester if student maintains eligibility
• Guaranteed internship in field of study last semester of school

Position Details:

• Over $18/hr.
• Quarterly bonus if sales goals are met
