HTC Employees and Members Donate More Than 1,500 Books to Area Literacy Charities
HTC recently donated more than 1,500 books to area non-profit literacy organizations in Horry, Georgetown and Marion counties in observance of March being National Reading Month.
During March, HTC collected both new and gently used children’s books for kids ages 0-10 at all eight HTC retail locations. In addition, the Cooperative donated a book for every new HTC TV MAX subscription during the month.
The donated books were distributed among the following organizations:
- Families Read: Horry County
- Freedom Readers: Georgetown County
- Kings Court: Marion County
